2022 Adventurous, Zinfandel, Linsteadt Vineyard, Amador County

This wine comes to us from a beautifully head-trained vineyard right in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley. We consider this to be our flagship wine, and with good reason. It sells out every year. This Adventurous pepper-lace zinfandel is not for the faint of heart. It’s a Big Zin in every sense of the word (even by Mountain standards). It starts off with rich, ripe raspberry fruit and follows with the exotic black/white pepper spice that the appellation is known for. The finish is filled with lingering nuances of creamy vanilla and buckwheat.
